1. Issues include when going indoors such as the great theme park shops, the canopies tend to get caught on items higher up on shelves and clothing racks. 5. It is a beautiful resort and conference center and is extremely large in size.  At Christmas time they even construct an ice skating rink outdoors and have a huge ice sculpture exhibit where it is so cold you are provided with special coats for viewing the exhibit and the individual ice sculptures are so large that they even have full size, two story slides for children or adults to slide down.

If you are lucky enough to be staying at this fabulous property during your vacation to Disney World, Sea World, Univseral Studios or any of the other numerous Orlando area attractions and need mobility assistance (or would just like to get around without wearing out your feet) a mobility scooter rental is the way to go.

The Dolphin and Swan are the furthest away from the EPCOT back entrance (you enter in between France and England) with the Yacht & Beach Club and Boardwalk hotels being about the same distance.

Walt Disney World, SeaWorld and Universal Florida theme parks open as early as 8 am and close as late as 11 pm which means if you are an early bird and want to be there upon opening, you may be leaving your hotel, timeshare or villa direct, as early as 6 am to have breakfast and get to the park.  Your mobility company should be operational and ready to support you during these hours.  Also there are times when you may experience a mechanical problem with a scooter.  They are, after all, a piece of machinery and they do break down and if this happens to you inside a theme park, you want to make sure your rental company provides a commitment to come into the park to provide service. 

While having a service problem is not pleasant, it would be far worse if you do so and your mobility scooter rental company is not available to take your call or will not come to assist and service you inside a theme park.

The mobility scooter rental will be waiting for you when you arrive and you can use it to get around the hotel property, at both theme parks, traversing Universal Citywalk and even take it with you to any other local area attractions you may want to visit including other theme parks, the Premium and Prime Outlet and Millenia Mall. 

Mobility Scooter Rentals also known as an electronic convenience vehicle (ECV) can be rented for as little as $25 a day, including free delivery and pick up to your hotel.  If you need or would like the advantages of having a mobility scooter to use, make sure you make your rental arrangements in advance to ensure you have the opportunity to choose the scooter that you would like best and as in the case of peak vacation time, guarantee you have a scooter available for you.

Mobility Scooter rentals can be arranged and reserved in advance of your arrival (at least 2 months is recommended and longer for peak seasons and holiday times) with a local scooter vacation rental company who will deliver it to your hotel in advance of your arrival and pick it up after your departure.  Nothing could be more convenient than to have it awaiting your arrival when you check into your hotel and by reserving it in advance you are sure to get the make and model of your choice.
